Mississippi-based Kate Teague is back with "The Temporary" - her first single of 2020.
"The Temporary" is the first new outing from Teague since last year's debut self-titled EP.
Teague says she "wrote this song when I first started listening to experimental artists like Colleen and Jenny Hval, so I was beginning to play around with the idea of drum and synth loops. I also wrote this right before a big transition in my life (which I’m still very much experiencing), but those feelings of hindrance and uneasiness about the future have taken on a new meaning for me during this pandemic."
Her new song is produced by Clay Jones and mixed by Heba Kadry.
Kate Teague's "The Temporary" single is out now on Muscle Beach Records.
