Kate Bush to collate lyrics in new book How To Be Invisible: Selected Lyrics
Kate Bush's selected lyrics for her new How To Be Invisible: Selected Lyrics book will be introduced by novelist David Mitchell.
How To Be Invisible: Selected Lyrics is a carefully selected and arranged book of lyrics showcasing Kate Bush's successful, 40-year career.
Novelist David Mitchell, who wrote Cloud Atlas, introduces Bush's lyric book.
Speaking about the project, Mitchell explains, “For millions around the world Kate is way more than another singer-songwriter: she is a creator of musical companions that travel with you through life. One paradox about her is that while her lyrics are avowedly idiosyncratic, those same lyrics evoke emotions and sensations that feel universal.”
Kate Bush's lyric book will be arriving via the publishing house Faber, which also brought out lyric books for Van Morrison, Jarvis Cocker and Ian Curtis.
How To Be Invisible: Selected Lyrics also arrives in the same year as Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights" 40th anniversary.
