Kanye West's Yandhi album has been pushed back to November

During Kanye West's discussion with TMZ he revealed that his Yandhi album has been pushed back to late November.

Kanye West's forthcoming Yandhi album was supposed to arrive on Saturday 29 September alongside his SNL appearance.

Frustratingly, nothing happened, and the whereabouts of Yandhi has remained a mystery until the rapper himself revealed the new release date during his discussion with TMZ yesterday (1 October).

He revealed that a member of his management team had suggested to push back the album as he "didn’t finish" it in time. He then goes on a bit of a tangent about how he wants to travel to Africa to finish the album, and how he wants to "grab the soil" and "eat five meals a day so the metabolism stays up". He confirms in his rant that he will "bring out the album on what is known as Black Friday, November 23." The discussion was recorded, and you can watch it below.

The Chicago rapper, who says he's changed his name to "ye", also went on to discuss the meaning behind his tweet that stated, "We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment." During his talk with TMZ he expressed, “Abolish was the wrong language. I misspoke by saying abolish. Amend is the right language. There’s people getting paid eight cent a week working for companies that are privately owned. A lot of them are first time offenders. A lot of them are non-violent crimes. And then also, we’re not dealing with the mental health and the therapy, because I’m gonna say that, I stand on the majority of people that are in prison are there do to a reaction to a situation that they are in.”

Kanye West also reaffirmed that he is thinking of running for president in 2024, four years later than his original plan.

Earlier this week Lana Del Rey spoke up against Kanye West's support for Trump on his MAGA hat selfie, stating "your support for him is a loss for the culture."
