Kanye West's 808s & Heartbreak to be reissued on vinyl
Kanye West’s career-turning 2008 album, 808s & Heartbreak is to be reissued on vinyl later this year.
Universal Music recently launched a venture they’re calling the ‘Respect the Classics’ campaign, in which they re-release a selection of classic hip-hop albums on both CD and vinyl.
Among the list of releases already confirmed are N.W.A’s Straight Outta Compton, Ice Cube’s AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted, Eazy-E’s Eazy-Duz-It, as well as DMX‘s first two albums. 2 Pac, Lil Wayne, Eminem and more are also expected to get a similar treatment shortly.
While the Kanye reissued has been confirmed, no firm due date has been given. But the schedule of releases seems to suggest it’ll drop in December.
