Kanye West unveils 'I Am A God' studio clip, performs 'New Slaves' a cappella
With less than a week before new record Yeezus comes out, the Kanye West promotional tour de force really is kicking into gear. Last night saw the rapper post a short studio clip of him recording track ‘I Am A God’ with Rick Rubin, while later on he hosted another listening party – this time in Basel, Switzerland.
“I feel almost like Steve Jobs giving one of those addresses,” Kanye began before launching into an a capella version of lead album cut ‘New Slaves’. He’s ends things off with a first listen of a version of ‘On Site’ by none other than Daft Punk. You can watch that clip below, and find the aforementioned studio recording via Yeezy’s official website.
Kanye recently did his first interview in years, with the New York Times earlier this week. You can read ten things that we took away from that here.
