Kanye West tweets release date for new album
Kanye West has broken his Twitter silence (and sadly deleted all his previous 140 character gems) by posting a possible release date for his new album.
The rapper, who will appear on SNL later this month, is expected to release a new single and full-length sometime this summer. He’s now added fuel to the internet rumour mill by simply writing the following on the social network site:
June Eighteen
— KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) May 2, 2013
The release would be Kanye’s first solo LP since 2010′s brilliant My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. More info as the story develops.
Update: It’s now been confirmed, with a Def Jam representative revealing that the album will indeed surface on 18 June.
