Kanye West to stage first opera this weekend
Kanye West has announced that he'll be staging his first opera, Nebuchadnezzar, this weekend.
The opera is named after the ancient Babylon king Nebuchadnezzar, who Kanye West referenced in his recent interview with Zane Lowe when talking about his Yeezus tour.
Kanye West announced the opera on Twitter last night (17 November), sharing an image of the invite designed by Nick Knight, which features a golden engraving of the Babylonian king.

The rapper's first opera will be directed by Italian performance artist Vanessa Beecroft, and will feature music by Kanye West's Sunday Service group, alongside Peter Colins and Infinities Song.
Last month Kanye West released his JESUS IS KING album.
