Kanye West teases 2024 run following 2020 US election defeat
It seems that Kanye West has admitted defeat in the 2020 US election as he's already set his sights on 2024.
The rapper launched his presidential campaign late in July, and only managed to make it onto the ballot in a handful of states due to missed deadlines. For the 2020 election, West has reportedly gained over 50,000 votes across 12 states.
This morning (4 November) West shared an image of him smiling in front of an electoral map of the US. Multiple reports (The Guardian, Far Out Magazine) state that the rapper wrote "Welp Kanye 2024", with "welp" indicating his disappointment at this year's outcome.
It seems the rapper has already brushed off this year's results as he's updated the tweet to just read "KANYE 2024", hinting at his second run for US president.

ye's post about the 2024 election comes after his friend Elon Musk revealed back in July that he tried his "best to convince him that 2024 would be better than 2020."
Yesterday (3 November) West said he was "voting for the first time in my life", adding, "and it's for someone I truly trust...me."
