Kanye West set to make cameo in 'Anchorman 2′
The return of the internet’s two favourite things is nigh, with Kanye West looking likely to release a new album shortly and the sequel to cult comedy Anchorman currently in the works. Now it seems like the two things are merging.
E! Online are reporting that the hip-hop star was spotted on the Atlanta set of Anchorman: The Legend Continues, which is currently scheduled for an end of year release.
“Kim Kardashian’s man was filming scenes for Anchorman 2 (actual title: Anchorman: The Legend Continues) in downtown Atlanta today—and Kim was briefly on set to support him as well before flying back to L.A” the publication write.
It shouldn’t come too much as a surprise, given Kanye’s previous acting credentials cut in Spike Jonze’s We Were Once A Fairytale (streaming below) and friendship with the film’s lead man Will Ferrell, who is sampled on Watch The Throne track ‘N***as In Paris’.
Kanye West is widely expected to release a new album on 18 June, with clips of his lead single ‘I Am A God’ previewed here.
