Kanye West performs at $3m Kazakhstan wedding for President Nazarbayev

Kanye West spent his Labor Day weekend in Kazakhstan this year, having been personally invited by President Nursultan Nazarbayev to perform at his grandson’s wedding.
The controversial political figure – so controversial that Sting pulled out of a gig in 2011 – is reported to have paid Yeezy somewhere in the region of $3 million for the appearance. It’s a shame, then, that none of his guests seemed that bothered, instead Instagramming selfies with the rapper performing to himself in the background.
