Kanye West names new album 'Yeezus', performs two tracks on SNL
How do you better perfection? Well, that’s what Kanye West is up against following 2010′s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Luckily, the rapper is never short of self-confidence and grandeur, revealing over the weekend that the record will be entitled Yeezus, a combination of his nickname, ‘Yeezy’, and, well, God’s son himself.
Having premiered his new video projected on buildings all around the world, West also stopped off at Saturday Night Live, turning in two performances – of the previously revealed ‘New Slaves’ and brand new one, and equally racially-charged, ‘Black Skinhead’.
You can watch both performances below. The album’s alleged artwork is beneath those, it’s due out on 18 June.
UPDATE: You can pre-order Yeezus via iTunes now. It’ll be 14 tracks long.
