Kanye West is writing his philosophy book in real time and on Twitter
Kanye West recently returned to Twitter. Kanye West recently announced a philosophy book. It turns out that those two things are very related.
"I've got this new concept that I've been diggin' into," Kanye said in a recent interview in Pret-A-Reporter. "I'm writing a philosophy book right now called Break The Simulation. And I've got this philosophy - or let's say it's just a concept because sometimes philosophy sounds too heavy-handed. I've got a concept about photographs, and I'm on the fence about photographs - about human beings being obsessed with photographs - because it takes you out of the now and transports you into the past or transports you into the future. It can be used to document, but a lot of times it overtakes [people]. People dwell too much in the memories. People always wanna hear the history of something, which is important, but I think it there's too much of an importance put on history."
Recently Ye's Twitter hiatus came to a sudden and high-profile end - the vibe is super different now, and we're getting nuggets of off-kilter wisdom instead of rants about pants. But last night he dropped the bombshell that this isn't just random screaming/tweeting into the void:
oh by the way this is my book that I'm writing in real time. No publisher or publicist will tell me what to put where or how many pages to write. This is not a financial opportunity this is an innate need to be expressive.

I will work on this "book" when I feel it. When We sit still in the mornings We get hit with so many ideas and so many things We want to express. When I read this tweet to myself I didn't like how much I used the word I so I changed the I's to We's.

It's already turning up some absolute gold, as you'd expect.
Cars have four wheels. Hoodies have hoods. It's amusing to me when some one says this is an original hoodie. Bro... it's a hoodie

truth is my goal. Controversy is my gym. I'll do a hundred reps of controversy for a 6 pack of truth
