Kanye West confirms Daft Punk and Bon Iver features on new album
With his new album Yeezus coming out next week, Kanye West has revealed more details about the upcoming release.
The rapper hosted a special playback event last night in New York, which Best Fit were in attendance and where he allowed people from the press, as well as some famous faces such as Beyonce and Jay-Z, hear the record for the first time.
As Pitchfork also note, Kanye revealed at the event that Daft Punk will indeed, like previous rumours suggested, appear on “three or four songs” on the LP.
It was also confirmed that Bon Iver, who also featured on the album’s predecessor My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, will guest on a track called ‘Can’t Handle My Liquor’.
Yeezus will drop on 18 June. Check out some tracks played live at Kanye’s recent appearance at NYC’s Governors ball here. Come back later to read a full blog on the playback.
