
Kanye West celebrates one year anniversary of Sunday Service, says it "saved my life"
Kanye West says Sunday Service group "saved my life" during speech on the one year anniversary of the choir.
Over the weekend, Kanye West celebrated the one year anniversary of his Sunday Service Choir group at a homeless shelter in LA.
During his speech, the Sunday Service Choir leader reflected on how the group has helped him change his life for the better, "A lot of times people say, 'Thank you Ye for Sunday Service.' I’m saying thank God. This thing saved my life. This thing was an alternative to opioids. This thing was an alternative to pornography."
Last week, Kanye West released the Christmas Sunday Service Choir album Jesus Is Born, which follows on from October's JESUS IS KING album.
In the build-up to Christmas, ye also hosted two operas - Nebuchadnezzar and Mary.
