Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian are apparently trying to get A$AP Rocky released from Sweden.

Earlier this month, A$AP Rocky was arrested in Stockholm on suspicion of assault. He's currently still being held in Sweden while Swedish authorities investigate the situation.

Tyler, The Creator, ScHoolboy Q, Lil Yachty, and more vowed to never perform in Sweden again, and a petition was launched by A$AP Mob to get the rapper released, which, at the time of writing this article, has amassed over 600,000 signatures.

TMZ have reported that Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian-West have lobbied the Trump Administration in order to help get A$AP Rocky released.

According to TMZ, Kanye West urged his wife to call President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, who then took the matter to Trump himself.

Kareem Lanier and Pastor Darrell Scott of the White House’s Urban Revitalization Coalition also got involved, apparently connecting A$AP Rocky's management team directly to Kushner via phone.

Earlier this month Kanye West's new song "Brothers" premiered on BET series Tales.
