Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith has announced her new double record The Kid and shared the lead single "An Intention".
The album is Smith's sixth in total and follows last year's Ears LP (and Sunergy, her 2016 project with Suzanne Ciani).
Spread across four sides, the concept-heavy collection spans the four 'phases' of human life, from birth to death. "An Intention" is track two on the LP, and forms part of the side that "takes us through the confused astonishment of a newborn, unaware of itself, existing in an unwitting nirvana."
Smith has also announced a new tour for later this year, including shows in Germany, the UK, and The Netherlands. Find out more.
