Yesterday (21 March) Matthew McConaughey hosted We’re Texas: Giddy Up To Give Back, a fundraising event for people in Texas impacted by the recent winter storm.
Kacey Musgraves, Post Malone, Miranda Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, Khalid and Don Henley were among the artists that featured on the fundraising event, which saw Musgraves perform a solo acoustic cover of Willie Nelson's "On The Road Again".
Post Malone also performed a couple of covers, including Brad Paisley's "I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishing Song)", as well as a cover of Sturgill Simpson's "You Can Have The Crown", which originally appeared on Simpson's 2013 debut album High Top Mountain.
Prior to Post Malone's performance, which is the final performance of the fundraiser, McConaughey introduced him as "a friend of mine. A brother."
