Kacey Johansing announces new album with lead cut "I Try"
Kacey Johansing has returned with news of her upcoming album No Better Time, and has released "I Try" as the lead single.
"I Try" is Johansing's first outing since her 2018 LP The Hiding, although she did feature on Big Search's "Stillness in the Air" single last year.
Johansing's forthcoming album was recorded at LA's 64 Sound, and features contributions from Todd Dahlhoff (Feist, Devendra Banhart), Trevor Beld Jimenez (Parting Lines) and Amir Yaghmai (Julian Casablancas + The Voidz). The LP is produced by Johansing and Tim Ramsey (Vetiver, Fruit Bats), engineered by Tyler Karmen (DIIV, Alvvays) and is mixed by Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliott Smith, Cat Power).
