JW Francis announces second album with new single "John, Take Me With You"
New York's JW Francis has returned with news of his second album WANDERKID, and has unveiled fresh track "John, Take Me With You" to accompany the announcement.
"John, Take Me With You" follows last month's "I Love You" single, and is teamed with a video directed by Emma Fernandez.
WANDERKID will land after JW Francis' 2020 debut album We Share A Similar Joy. He says of the new record, "WANDERKID is an album about escape. It’s supposed to be a gut punch of a record about an anti-hero named WANDERKID who wants to get OUT: out of his living situation, out of his head, out of his life. This album is like looking out the car window with an urgent desire to be on the other side. It was finished during the most recent global pandemic, so hopefully folks find it relatable."
