Justin Bieber reveals he's battling Lyme disease
Justin Bieber has opened up about his battle with Lyme disease.
Bieber is getting back into the flow of things. Last Friday (3 January) he dropped his new single "Yummy", and he's releasing the first episode of a new YouTube docuseries later this month.
Last night (8 January) on Instagram, Bieber decided to open up about his battle with Lyme disease. He wrote, "While a lot of people kept saying justin Bieber looks like shit, on meth etc. they failed to realize I've been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my, skin, brain function, energy, and overall health."
He added, "These things will be explained further in a docu series I'm putting on YouTube shortly.. you can learn all that I've been battling and OVERCOMING!! It's been a rough couple years but getting the right treatment that will help treat this so far incurable disease and I will be back and better than ever NO CAP."

Bieber's new album due to arrive this year will be his first since 2015's Purpose. Although he hasn't released new music since 2015, he has featured DJ Khaled's "No Brainer" in 2018, Ed Sheeran's "I Don't Care", a new version of Billie Eilish's "bad guy", and most recently Dan + Shay's "10,000 Hours".
