Julie Byrne, Ryley Walker, Douglas Dare, and more to play second Sea Change Festival
Sea Change Festival has announced its first list of names for 2017, with Ryley Walker, Julie Byrne, Grumbling Fur, and Douglas Dare leading the way.
Nadia Reid, Hey Colossus, Masayoshi Fujita, Michael Chapman, Holly Macve, Sex Swing, Gulp, and Orielles are all also set to play. As well as these names, Sea Change have confirmed guest curation from Heavenly Recordings, The Quietus, Erased Tapes, Basin Rock, Bella Union, and Earth Recordings.
Expect shows to take place in "a 1960s civic Hall, two micro breweries, a 15th century church, a record shop, some galleries, a ballroom, a converted industrial unit, a restored Victorian cinema, and other intimate convert spaces." As well as the live music on offer, Sea Change will feature exhibitions, films, panel talks, specially created guest beers, a beer festival, and much more.
