Julian Casablancas + The Voidz announce album Tyranny, share trailer video
Strokes man Julian Casablancas has been teasing his upcoming album with new band The Voidz for quite some time, now finally confirming the LP.
As Pitchfork reports, Julian Casablancas + The Voidz will release Tyranny on 23 September via Casablancas’ own Cult Records.
“Tyranny has come in many forms throughout history,” Casablancas says in a press release. “Now, the good of business is put above anything else, as corporations have become the new ruling body. Most decisions seem to be made like ones of a medieval king: whatever makes profit while ignoring and repressing the truth about whatever suffering it may cause (like pop music, for that matter).”
