Joy Orbison to release back catalogue on streaming services this week
Joy Orbison has announced that his back catalogue will be made available on streaming services this week.
There are only a handful of songs available when searching for Joy Orbison on Spotify, but the electronic musician has revealed that his catalogue is due to expand tomorrow (20 September).
In a new Instagram post, Joy Orbison, aka Peter O'Grady, writes, "Just a quick word (and an emo picture) to say my back catalogue will be available on all major streaming/digital platforms for the first time this Friday. This is something i’ve meant to do for years so i’m feeling weirdly excited. In the past i think i may have given the impression that i was somewhat wilfully obscure with the way I released my music. I think I’ve just focused on what i thought made most sense with the music i was making and how i engaged with the culture."
He also touches on new material, "Over the years that’s actually changed a fair bit and I’ve got a load of new music on the way so it felt like a good time to get my shit together."
