Joy Orbison and SBTRKT feature on new Gilles Peterson compilation
Joy Orbison, SBTRKT and Machinedrum are some of the big name producers to remix tracks from Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood label’s back-catalogue for this celebratory release.
The label has just hit its 100th release milestone and are set to celebrate the feat with a new remix compilation named Brownswood One Hundred Remixed.
The compilation will feature a Joy Orbison edit of José James’ ‘BLACKMAGIC’, a Machinedrum’s take on Gang Colours’ ‘Fancy Restaurant’ and reworkings from Quantic, George Fitzgerald, Yoruba Soul, Quest Guidance, Michel Cleis and a SBTRKT’s remix of James’ ‘Warrior’.
