Jorja Smith, Little Simz and more feature on Barack Obama's summer playlist
Barack Obama has released his 2020 summer playlist, which features songs from Jorja Smith, Little Simz and many more.
Last week, Michelle Obama shared a new playlist inspired by the first season of her podcast, featuring songs by Little Simz, Tierra Whack, Arlo Parks and more.
Just over a week later and her husband, Barack Obama, has unveiled his 2020 summer playlist, and there's a huge range of artists. There's even a few British artists on his playlist, including Little Simz, Jorja Smith, and Young T & Bugsey and Headie One.
There's some classics from Sheryl Crowe, Otis Redding, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder and Bob Dylan, as well as recent tracks from Anderson .Paak, J. Balvin, Dua Lipa and Bad Bunny, Haim, Billie Eilish, J. Cole, Princess Nokia, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Megan Thee Stallion and others.
Obama writes of the playlist, "Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer - including songs from some of the artists at this week’s Democratic National Convention. Hope you enjoy it."
