Jordan Rakei shares new single "Send My Love"
Jordan Rakei has released new cut "Send My Love" as the second preview of his upcoming fourth album What We Call Life.
Following the release of opening track "Family" in June, Rakei has delivered the second track from What We Call Life, titled "Send My Love".
Rakei says of the new outing, "It’s a stand for my independence, like saying: I’m fine here, don’t worry about me, send my love back home."
What We Call Life will follow Rakei's 2019 album Origin.
"As we worked through it, it made me realise I would love to talk about the different lessons I learned from therapy in my music," Rakei explains of the album. "About my early childhood, my relationship with my parents and siblings, becoming independent in London, being in a new marriage, understanding how my marriage compares to the relationship my parents had."
