Jonathan Wilson shares new single "In Heaven Making Love"
Jonathan Wilson is back with his first single of 2020, "In Heaven Making Love", lifted from his forthcoming album Dixie Blur.
"In Heaven Making Love" is Wilson's fourth single to be shared from Dixie Blur, after "Korean Tea", "So Alive", and "'69 Corvette".
Wilson says of the new track, "That was one written from the road and driving down some highway in Spain. It was written in a totally different way for my last album, Rare Birds. I tried but I could never really get it, but then we did it this new way and it was like, Oh, that makes total sense now."
Dixie Blur is Wilson's first album since last year's Rare Birds.
Wilson recorded the new LP at Nashville's Nashville to record at Sound Emporium Studio with the help of musicians including Mark O’Connor (fiddle), Kenny Vaughan (guitar) Dennis Crouch (bass), Russ Pahl (pedal steel), Jim Hoke (harmonica, woodwinds), Jon Radford (drums), and Drew Erickson (keyboards).
