Acclaimed producer Jonathan Wilson has announced the release of a new five-track EP called Slide By for Record Store Day's Black Friday event.
It will include two originals, offcuts from the Fanfare album sessions, and three eclectic covers. Speaking about his cover of Bob Welch's "Angel", Wilson said: “We play this song live quite a bit but this version was recorded when we first started playing it and has a real spark and sense of spontaneity to it. It’s still wet behind the ears.”
Tracklist:
1. Coming Into Los Angeles (Arlo Guthrie cover)
2. Free Advice (The Great Society cover)
3. Alpha Blondy Was King
4. Angel (Bob Welch cover)
5. Slide By
