Johnny Borrell announces debut solo album 'Borrell 1′

Following his band’s recent hiatus, Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell has confirmed that he’ll release his first solo record next month – entitled Borrell 1.
The LP, the singer’s first studio album for five years, will come out on 22 July via Stiff Records/Virgin EMI.
Borrell said of the release: “The music just came very naturally. It’s an album that was born in the spirit of a party, and the arrangements for the songs come from that atmosphere.”
