Joel Ford launches new label 'Driftless Recordings'
Electronic producer and Oneohtrix Point Never collaborator, Joel Ford has revealed details of his brand new record label.
Set up along with fellow musician Patrick McDermott, Driftless Recordings promises to offer up “a diverse cross-section of artists who are using music and field recordings and a general obsession with sound as a way of understanding the weird world they inhabit”.
Among the acts set to appear on the label is Ford’s very own Airbird moniker. Driftless will also not only release records, but will also work in a “variety of mediums, including short films, fiction, and mixed media installation”.
