Having ditched his Lacoste, Jimothy has traded it in to pay homage to an iconic British designer on new cut "Getting Burberry Socks".
"Getting Burberry Socks" sees the wordsmith deliver his take on the American cliché of rapping about Gucci and Louis Vuitton by referring to British designer Burberry, and his fresh new socks.
"Can you see my flex?" he raps, before clarifying in his playful manner, "Yes, it's Burberry".
The new single arrives with visuals shot in NYC and co-directed by himself and William Alan Harris.
"Getting Burberry Socks" is Lacoste's first single since his prolific 2018 singles, including "Getting Carjacked", "Make Money", and "Fashion".
The new single is out everywhere now. Revisit our Nine Songs with Jimothy Lacoste.
