Jim White brought his incisive, witty and honest alt-country story-telling to End of the Road's Piano Stage for the third of Sunday's Best Fit-curated secret sets.
Distilling his struggles with mental health and subsequent dabbling with mysticism and religion into his music, the 61-year-old cult favourite turned the woodland glade into an impromptu church with his gospel-tinged Americana.
Our secret shows conclude this afternoon with Ezra Furman and John Cale in discussion followed by one surprise final show of the day!
End of the Road continues on Sunday 2 September with headline sets from Feist and White Denim.
