Jeremih's family give health update following hospitalisation with COVID-19
The family of Jeremih have shared a statement on the artist's health after he was hospitalised with COVID-19 last weekend.
Over the weekend Jeremih was reportedly hospitalised with COVID-19 and put on a ventilator in an Intensive Care Unit after testing positive for the virus.
The likes of 50 Cent, Chance The Rapper and Big Sean have shared messages of support for Jeremih on socials, and yesterday (18 November) his family provided an update on his condition.
Jeremih is confirmed to be in an intensive care unit, and is on a ventilator to help him breathe.
According to CNN, the statement revealed that COVID-19 "viciously attacked his body", and added that the family are "very grateful for everyone who is praying, and we ask for continued prayers."
Jeremih's family statement continued, "The family believes daily prayers to God. A great team of doctors and nurses is helping him pull through. He's not out of the woods yet, but progress is being made. The family and friends are praying that he starts breathing on his own soon, and makes a full recovery."
