Jenny Lewis, Dave Grohl and more feature on Ringo Starr's new single "Here’s To The Nights"
Ringo Starr has announced his new EP Zoom In, which arrives with lead single "Here's To The Nights" that features contributions from Jenny Lewis, Dave Grohl, FINNEAS and many more.
"Here's To The Nights" is the first taster of Starr's new Zoom In EP, and was penned by Diane Warren.
The lead single features a star-studded list of contributors, including Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney, Jennny Lewis, Dave Grohl, FINNEAS, Sheryl Crow, Corinne Bailey Rae, Eric Burton (Black Pumas), Lenny Kravitz, Yola, and more.
Starr says of the track, "When Diane presented this song to me I loved the sentiment of it. This is the kind of song we all want to sing along to, and it was so great how many wonderful musicians joined in. I wanted it out in time for New Years because it feels like a good song to end a tough year on. So here’s to the nights we won’t remember and the friends we won’t forget – and I am wishing everyone peace and love for 2021."
Zoom In was recorded from his home studio between April and October this year.
