Jeff Tweedy revives Parks and Recreation Scott Tanner persona for Mouse Rat album track "Cold Water"
Jeff Tweedy, who appeared in Parks and Recreation as Scott Tanner, has shared new song "Cold Water", which will feature on the upcoming Awesome Album by the fictional band Mouse Rat, fronted by the show's Andy Dwyer (Chris Pratt).
Parks and Recreation's Scott Tanner, played by Tweedy, is part of a fictional band called Land Ho!, while Andy Dwyer (played by Chris Pratt), is in Mouse Rat.
Today (16 June), a new song from Mouse Rat's upcoming Awesome Album has been released called "Cold Water", which features Tanner, aka Tweedy, on lead vocals, and a saxophone solo credited to Duke Silver (an alias used by the show's Ron Swanson, aka Nick Offerman).
Pitchfork has since received confirmation that the sax solo isn't actually played by Offerman.
