JEFF The Brotherhood announce 11th studio record, share lead single "Punishment"
Nashville brothers JEFF The Brotherhood have announced their 11th studio album Zone and dropped lead song "Punishment".
Zone is described as the third instalment of their "spiritual trilogy" - a trilogy which also features '09's Heavy Days and We Are The Champions from 2011.
The album was co-produced with Collin Dupuis (The Black Keys, Lana Del Rey) over a fortnight in Club Roar, a converted warehouse. Alicia Bognanno of Bully guests on "Roachin".
"Punishment" is described by the band as about fantastical undersea caves “where the inhabitants will take your limbs and face and use them as their own to walk amongst us on land”. Nice.
The group will release Zone on 30 September via Dine Alone. It follows 2015 albums Wasted On The Dream (which featured members of Best Coast, The Raconteurs, and Jethro Tull) and Global Chakra Rhythms.
