A host of prominent musicians have added their names to an open letter to the FCC in favour of net neutrality.
The letter argues that an “open” internet “empowers freedom of speech and freedom of expression”, while “allowing broadband providers to control this once-open platform shifts power away from individual artists and creators” interferes with this freedom of speech and expression.
You can read the full letter here, with the likes of Michael Stipe, Jeff Mangum, Fugazi, Tune-Yards, Neko Case, Fred Armisen, Kimya Dawson, Tom Morello, Kronos Quartet and more backing it.
