Jean Michel Jarre teams up with M83 on new single "Glory"
Electronic groundbreaker Jean-Michel Jarre is set to release a new collaborative LP, featuring works with Tangerine Dream (written prior to Edgar Froese's death), Gesaffelstein and Massive Attack.
There's also a team-up with countryman M83, titled "Glory", which you can stream in full.
You can hear snippets of the other collabs now on Jarre's Soundcloud.
In the press release, M83's Anthony Gonzalez spoke about seeing Jarre on TV as a kid: "He was playing with his synths and I was blown away with the sound and the look of his synthesizers... it looked so futuristic to me, I was just hooked by the melodies and the power of his music right away."
The record isn't named yet. The tracks with Gesaffelstein, Massive Attack and Tangering Dream will get released on vinyl EPs on 19 June (strictly limited to 100 copies each) vai Vinyl Factory.
