Jay-Z's new album Samsung app fails and leaves fans frustrated
The Samsung smartphone app for Jay-Z’s new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail crashed this morning leaving thousands of fans frustrated at not being able to download it.
The rap star forged an unprecedented marketing plan that allows a million Samsung Galaxy users to download the album for free, but fans seem to be experiencing issues with the software and have left a number of negative and one star reviews on the Samsung App store.
One fan, Kriz Shiozaki wrote: “I am trying to download the album right now and when I click on enter Magna Carta it takes me to a screen that stays white. Is there a problem or just so many people on the app right now?” Another added: “Thanks a lot for my ‘free’ album hahaha. Can’t even get past the main screen. Is it that hard to actually give us what we want? Samsung has so much money and can’t even get a stupid app to work.”
Samsung have responded to complaints by saying, “We’re seeing the album hit phones across the country. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned.”
