Jay-Z unveils the real artwork for new album, displays it alongside the actual Magna Carta

Thought Kanye West naming a track ‘I Am A God’ was a bit of an ego trip? Well, Jay-Z has just put his new album artwork for Magna Carta Holy Grail up for display next to the actual Magna Carta in Salisbury Cathedral.
A rather minimalist (read as “shoddy”) version of the artwork had been circulating the web previously but now it appears the final product is vastly different. You can check that out above.
And if you didn’t believe that Jay-Z would actually compare his new album to the Magna Carta, well, here’s a photo of that below.
Magna Carta Holy Grail drops tomorrow (4 July) via a Samsung smartphone app.
