It seems that Jay-Z’s upcoming album is going to be a grand homage of sorts, with it already emerging that the rapper references Nirvana on one track, and it now being revealed that another song quotes R.E.M.
The track in question, ‘Heaven’ borrows from the 90s band’s classic hit ‘Losing My Religion’ – loaning its entire chorus. You can read the lyric sheet in full beneath.
Magna Carta Holy Grail comes out 4 July.
