Jay Electronica airs Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent diss “The Curse Of Mayweather”
Jay Electronica has released new track "The Curse Of Mayweather", which places the New Orleans rapper's crosshairs over Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent.
Both Electronica and Lamar guested on Big Seans' 2013 show-stopper "Control (HOF)", which saw Lamar call out basically every major name in rap - including Jay Electronica.
Apparently Electronica's not too happy - still - and last week he told Periscope: “Kendrick is my son. Kendrick is my baby. Kendrick wishes that he could be me.”
The new song also hits out at 50 Cent, but Kendrick gets the main treatment: “‘He’s got 11 Grammy nominations, ya’ll not equal / man, fuck these white people / my grandmother died at 82, scrubbing floors / and niggas still running around, begging for awards.”
