Jarvis Cocker's This Book Is a Song confirmed for release in October
Jarvis Cocker's new book, This Book Is a Song, has been confirmed for release in October this year.
Cocker signed a book deal for the rights to This Book Is a Song with Penguin imprint Jonathan Cape back in 2017.
A page for the book has now appeared on Amazon, revealing the 256-page book will be released in October 2020.
According to NME, Jonathan Cape Publishing Director Michal Shavit said in 2017 that This Book Is a Song is a "unique and important book" that explores "the subject of creativity and how to quietly make amazing things happen in a world of noise."
Last month, Cocker released a new version of his 2006 single "Running The World" featuring the Kaiser Quartett. He released it during a campaign to get "Running The World" to the top of the UK Singles Chart before Christmas (which has since been extended).
