During a recent stop at the SiriusXM studios, Japanese Breakfast's Michelle Zauner shared a cover of The Mamas and The Papas' "California Dreamin'".
In Zauner's hands it's no longer a strangely ominous '60s folk-pop cut with big harmonies and surfy riffs, but rather a dreamy electro number. It's quite the transformation.
Japanese Breakfast's latest record, Soft Sounds From Another Planet, was one of our favourite records of 2017.
