Japandroids brought the celebration full circle at End Of The Road
Headlining the Big Top at End Of The Road, Japandroids kept the celebration in full swing.
Playing the last show of a tour before they head home to Vancouver ("it's the end of the road, as they say"), Brian King and David Prowse brought their freewheeling rock and roll to the masses with an energy that proved entirely contagious.
"I know it's raining, and you're all probably cold from watching bands all day in the rain," King declared mid set, "so we'll do what we can to create some fucking heat." Performing favourites from all across the career, the outfit kept the masses dancing way past the midnight hour.
"It's the last chance to dance," King reminded the crowd. "Show us what you got, baby." Ending with longstanding favourite "The House That Heaven Built", the performance was nothing short of rapturous.
