Following in Lady Gaga’s footsteps, Janelle Monáe has been confirmed to appear on long-running U.S childrens show Sesame Street.
The show is in its 45th season, with Monáe enlisted to sing a song called “The Power Of Yet”, teaching kids not to give up.
” you try to jump but can’t get enough height, you try to sing the words to a song but you forgot them—it doesn’t matter because you can keep doing it,” the singer says of the song. “Practice on your mistakes and there’s so much power in ‘yet’.”
