Janelle Monáe teams up with Grimes for new track "PYNK"
Janelle Monáe has shared the brilliant "PYNK", another collaboration with ever-brilliant producer Grimes, ahead of upcoming record Dirty Computer.
The mighty pop pair have teamed up before, with Monáe appearing on "Venus Fly" from Grimes' 2015 LP Art Angels. Now they're knocking it outta the park again on "PYNK" - which follows "Make Me Feel" and "Django Jane" to preview Monáe's long-awaited next record.
"PYNK" comes with a vibrant set of visuals and a description which sheds more light on the not-so-subtle cut: "'PYNK' is a brash celebration of creation. Self love. Sexuality. And pussy power! 'PYNK' is the color that unites us all, for pink is the color found in the deepest and darkest nooks and crannies of humans everywhere... 'PYNK' is where the future is born..."
Grimes has also been hard at work on her own material over the past few years, although it's unlikely we'll see any of that soon.
