Janelle Monáe announces UK live dates for May

Widely thought of as the hardest working performer in music today, Janelle Monáe is scheduled to head to the UK for a handful of shows later this year.

Monáe, who released her latest album The Electric Lady just last year, will play dates in London, Manchester and Birmingham. The London outing will take place at Brixton Academy on 9 May.
