JÁNA recruits Vic Mensa for new remix of "Joyride"
Swedish Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer JÁNA has unveiled a new remix of her Works EP track "Joyride" that features a new verse from Vic Mensa.
Works, JÁNA's second EP, landed back in June, and today (12 November) she's delivered a new remix of EP track "Joyride" that features new vocals from US rapper Vic Mensa.
Speaking about the collaboration, JÁNA said, "I have been listening to Vic since 2014 when he released "Down on My Luck". I really love how he approaches a feature, like on Snoh Aalegra, Kanye West, KAYTRANADA and Chance The Rapper's tracks. I reached out to him this summer just after the release of the original version of "Joyride". I came in touch with him via an email address I found on his Instagram and he said the music was dope and he wanted to do it. It worked really smoothly and he has been so great. I could not be happier with the outcome."
