Jamie Woon announces new LP Making Time, shares live session of new single "Message"
Jamie Woon has at long last announced details of his second record - it's called Making Time and it'll be released later this year.
Speaking about the LP, Woon says: “Each project takes as long as it takes. It's quite common for me to start a song and then sit on it for two years before I finish it. I used to feel a lot of guilt about how long things take, but I’ve made peace with that. Part of the reason this record took so long is that I wanted to feel like a new person, releasing a new record.”
Willy Mason, Robin Hannibal, Royce Wood Junior, and Lexxx have all contributed to the record, which was co-produced by the latter with Woon.
Talking about new single "Message", woon explains that it's "me explaining what I’ve been up to and working out why I do this... the process of this record was about me finding that confidence in myself."
Woon released his debut record Mirrorwriting way back in 2011. "Sharpness" will be available to stream/buy on 11 August.
Making Time is due out 6 November via PMR. If you pre-order now, you'll get a copy of new single "Message".
